This month this newsletter interviewed a local expert in business networking and coaching.Pat Snow, when interviewed, described how she got into the profession. “ My first business, The Learning Network , offered Business Skills, Personal Interest and Leisure classes to the general public in the 1980's. I learned a great deal from this experience, and it contributes greatly to the business I own today.” “What this world needs is a lot more “lerts” (be alert to chance). This was something my late father Arthur Snow used to say to me,” she told this newsletter. “My father was a real estate broker and what he was trying to instill in me was when you are working as an entrepreneur, you must create the opportunities in order to be successful.” “Today, I am a professional business coach living in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, helping people, mostly small business owners and professionals, pursue their dreams." "My services assist them break through the obstacles their own minds create robbing them of their true values and life purposes. I love working with motivated and creative clients looking for someone like myself to inspire them to meet challenges." "The services I offer include a variety of business programs in branding, business planning, and marketing, customised to each particular client's needs,” Pat Snow continued. Prior to becoming a coach this newsletter has learned, Pat spent years working in health care for a variety of clients in the public and private sectors. During this time she led many seminars, workshops, and a variety of courses helping the general public as well as specific federal government departments. Topics included Communication, Leadership, Parenting, and Retirement Planning. Her excellent work earned her a nomination for a provincial award, and favorable mention in journals and newspapers. All this practical knowledge made a huge impact convincing her that coaching is the field for her.A firm believer in continuing education, Pat enrolled in intensive coach training at Coach U, the largest coach training school in North America. Always alert, ready for any opportunity she keeps her studies ongoing always learning new skills and methods to help her clients. After inspiring, challenging, and motivating people for over twenty years she has recently also attained a Certified Entrepreneur attestation completing an equivalent Advanced MBA (Master of Business Administration) program with the Top CEOs Fortune 500 Companies. Pat has helped many small business owners and professionals to grow their business through marketing and networking. She enjoys forming joint ventures, connecting people and companies for common business goals. She believes that the future will be determined by our youth and how they embrace business utilizing all the new technology happening around us. Convinced she can contribute to youth entrepreneurship last year she hosted two very successful evening events at the Dollard-des-Ormeaux Civic Centre. She says her strategy is to inspire and provide her clients tools to make successful decisions meeting their future challenges with clarity.
